We are on the hunt for a Cybersecurity Practice Director working as the key leader of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex technical and business challenges through trust-based advisory relationships. You will be part of a growing team driving strategic programs, data analytics, innovation, cyber resiliency, vulnerability management and response, and technical implementation activities. You will also hold a level of operational responsibility for organizing, managing and growing the team and P&L. You will contribute to developing and managing resource and hiring plans as well as budgets and project/practice financial models. You will be an active participant in business development and growth at existing and new clients with an annual target of managed revenue.

Requirements:
- Managing project financials in line with agreed-upon budgets
- Leading and managing cross-functional efforts across operational teams (often in times of higher stress, such as incident response)
- Thought leadership experience is required (must be comfortable at speaking engagements, workshops, etc.).
- Overseeing and reporting of cyber risks, threats and vulnerabilities
- Designing and implementing defensible security system architectures, using concepts such as zero trust, defense in depth, least privilege
- Developing, implementing and testing cyber resiliency plans
- Pre-Sales discussions with Accounts Teams as well as Potential Clients
- Coach others and encourage them to take ownership of their development.
- Analyze complex ideas or challenges and build a range of meaningful recommendations.
- Strong management consulting experience required (Big4 preferred)
- Managing the Vulnerability Management and Cyber Resilience teams to ensure project initiatives, resource and capacity planning as well as reviewing and approving solutions
- Pursue opportunities to develop existing and new skills outside of your comfort zone.
- Implementing practices to optimize this process across the organization for the proactive reduction of organizational risk
- Leveraging knowledge of common industry frameworks such as NIST CSF, COBIT, ISO27K1/2
- Ability to travel up to 30% to client sites and or IX HQ in Atlanta (100% remote when not traveling)
- Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet our company's or client's expectations.
- Focus on building trusted relationships.
- Creating a positive working environment by monitoring and managing workloads of the team - balancing client expectations with the work-life quality of team members
- Managing and overseeing projects involving information security, technology risk management, cybersecurity or cyber risk management
- Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.
- Strong strategic leadership experience and long-term planning
- Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations.
- 15+ years of experience providing industry-leading practices in cyber risk management and regulatory compliance
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Using tools and technology to provide data analytics and business intelligence on cyber threats, risk and vulnerabilities
- Researching, understanding, and developing remediation strategies for vulnerabilities identified on various types of systems
- Analyzing the structure of common attack techniques to evaluate an attacker's spread through a system and network, anticipating and thwarting further attacker activity; Utilizing tools and evidence to determine the kind of malware used in an attack, including rootkits, backdoors, and Trojan horses, choosing appropriate defenses and response tactics for each
- Designing KRIs and metrics to build reports and dashboards for management
- Act to resolve issues which prevent effective team working, even during times of change and uncertainty.
