Sr. Quality Engineer (Manufacturing) On-Site

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer. As a member of the Quality System, the Senior Quality Engineer will leverage analytical and statistical techniques to drive continuous improvement in the manufacturing processes. This role is pivotal in problem-solving, variable control, and delivering honest and accurate feedback to ensure exceptional product quality.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver training and coaching on quality-related matters to production associates and management.
• Support Operations employees in interpreting specifications and troubleshooting problems.
• Regularly review specifications, Standard Operating Sheets (SOS), and other relevant documents for accuracy and updates.
• Actively participate in Layered Process Audit sessions to identify and resolve issues.
• Conduct customer visits at job sites as necessary.
• Contribute to Customer Complaint Analysis initiatives.
• Lead and/or participate in Kaizen improvement events.
• Develop, modify, and complete Standard Operating Sheets (SOS).
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality concerns.
• Report project progress using the A3 project management process/format.
• Uphold the Quality System by performing tasks that ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Group Leaders, Team Leaders, and Engineering teams to address product quality problems.
• Provide precise information and feedback to all Business Units and the Ops Leadership Team.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in Manufacturing Quality Engineering.
• Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Capable of providing candid feedback and reporting non-compliance findings to the Ferdinand Quality System.
• Bachelor's degree in industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• +4 years of experience.
• Proficient in the application and interpretation of statistical data.
• Ability to maintain professional competence, knowledge, and skills necessary for fulfilling assigned responsibilities satisfactorily.
• Proactive in initiating, leading, and participating in problem-solving activities.
