Client loss prevention and risk management services are an integral part of the Victor and CNA program. Victor recognizes that liability exposures represent an inherent part of any firm’s practice and is committed to working with insured firms to help identify and manage these exposures.
Victor Risk management is seeking candidates for the following to be based either Fully Remote or ideally to be based in Bethesda Maryland Office:
Risk Management Consultant (A&E)
What can you expect?
- Active planning and execution for large firm gatherings (perhaps on an annual basis)
- Maintains, strengthens and expands relationships with relevant Associations, their members and staff to help build new business and retain existing business and to remain a trusted, credible resource in the industry
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the visibility and credibility of the company’s services.
- Provides risk management support services to company’s Design, Construction & Consulting clients to include contract reviews, seminar/webinar presentations, and verbal/written advice and commentary on a range of professional liability and practice management issues; promoting risk management resources/tools with insureds and brokers; willing and able to learn and lead on risk management support services in other programs/product lines.
- Identifies and analyzes claims data/trends to ensure quality risk management support services.
- Research and analyze industry trends and related risk management issues; develop risk management resources and presentations

We will count on you to:
- You will work towards strengthening and growing relationships with Associations (staff, leadership and members) in an effort to grow business as well as retain it, and in an effort to remain a trusted and credible risk management resource in the industry
- To collaborate with marketing, underwriting and other internal stakeholders to support business retention and new business growth.
- To support the brokers, underwriters, actuaries, and policyholders in identifying and analyzing risk factors and developing risk management resources.
What you need to have:
- Strong communication and presentation skills – public speaking and client/broker engagement
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- 5 years’ experience in the design/construction industry; preferred: claims/legal/litigation/risk management experience
- Undergraduate degree required; JD preferred

The applicable base salary range for this role is $73,300 to $156,300.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
