Job Responsibilities
- Lead complex implementation projects of Concur's travel agency automation software, Complete from initial discovery thru product launch, transitioning post-launch support to service team
- Create & maintain internal/external functional and technical documentation on developed solutions
- Design & execute test plans for online booking tool and mid-office product development releases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design solutions including implementation architecture, risk identification and mitigation, and service delivery incorporating GDS platforms and 3rd party products
- Build and gain alignment on project plan(s) with clear objectives to be delivered, milestones, owners and due dates
- Support operations technology strategy for travel clients including front, mid, and back office
- Provide support and structure to workstreams to ensure alignment of objectives, desired outcome, and execution plans
- Navigate within the organization and align key stakeholders to influence, build consensus and get things done
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate a roadmap for online booking tool product development and internal content management system
- Own technical and functional documentation of business requirements and develop solutions
- Consult with suppliers and vendors to implement new products and services within the client's travel technology portfolio
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Proven experience in large complex programs
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint/PitchPro
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively; develop strong partnership with multiple levels of employees
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and produce successful results in a fast-paced environment
- 5+ years in relevant travel role, management consulting, project/program management, or other financial/analytic roles
- Demonstrated leadership skills, self-starter, execution oriented, and ability to take initiative
- Ability to ramp up on new assignments quickly with limited direction in an ever-changing environment
- Strong judgment, professional maturity, personal integrity, strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented, fact based, has the courage to ask the tough questions and challenge the status quo
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in travel related initiatives preferred
- Experience in working in a controlled/regulated environment is preferred
