C++ Unreal Server Developer

We are looking for a Server Programmer to lead the design and development of online game server networks to support various game features such as online gameplay, in-game events and purchases, credential verification, and online messaging systems.

They translate the vision for online features into a server network design and implement it by configuring appropriate hardware. You'll oversee program development to link the game with the servers. You'll review and integrate server programmes within the overall game code and oversee online gameplay features' testing. You'll also oversee the maintenance of game servers and online operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Client/Server Programmer reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's client/server software applications.
• Define hardware and bandwidth requirements for hosting game servers.
• Define overall scope of technical design for server network based on game components and features.
• Enhance efficiency in server networks by improving server code.
• Develop codes as required for the implementation of game servers.
• Being a Client/Server Programmer I conducts technical assessment, research, and testing of technologies as requested.
• Designs, plans, enhances, and tests all distributed systems platforms.
• Design high level logical architecture for game's server requirements.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
• Excellent knowledge of APIs and build libraries.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Proven work experience completing a full video game life-cycle.
• Proficiency in C++ and other programming languages such as Java or C.
• Ability to solve complicated problems using best practices.
• Knowledge of the latest gaming trends and technologies.
