About the Position
We are seeking a smart, tenacious, and incredibly hard-working Chief of Staff who can match the high energy and availability of our founder CEO. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO on all matters related to the growth and success of the organization, while facilitating the execution of strategic initiatives that align with the CEO's vision and bold goals. As a key member of our team, you will manage complex projects and new business/new product line initiatives, working cross-functionally with various departments and stakeholders. You will also oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of the CEO, senior leadership, and departmental heads. As the Chief of Staff, you will serve as a liaison between staff, executives, senior leaders, and the CEO, regarding company project updates, proposals, and planning. You'll also lead preparation for board, management, and town hall meetings, and other critical meetings/events and track follow-up action items. Additionally, you'll serve as a trusted sounding board for the CEO and senior executive team.
The CEO is leading three growth companies ranging from Insurance, HR & Investments, and is based out of the North Palm Beach, FL office. There is also a significant location in central New Jersey (New York Metro area). The role can be either in-office, hybrid, or remote, depending on the candidate. Travel is required.
What Youll Do
Drive and manage the rhythm of the business (RoB) leadership / town hall meeting cadence, OKRs, QBRs, budgeting and talent management.
Lead special projects, such as putting together presentations, organizing team offsites or large meetings, and assisting with hiring for key roles.
Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of the CEO, senior leadership, and departmental heads.
Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
Identify, design, and execute improvements to organizational structure and goal setting for optimized efficiency and productivity.
Serve as a liaison between staff, executives, senior leaders, and the CEO, regarding company project updates, proposals, and planning.
Lead preparation for board, management, and town hall meetings, and other critical meetings/events and track follow-up action items.
Steward budget planning cycles and drive follow-up on emergency issues that arise, such as HR issues.
Build and manage periodic business reviews/OKR/KPI pack.
Contribute to strategic planning by framing and communicating the CEO's strategic thinking and organizational design thoughts.
Serve as a trusted sounding board for the CEO and senior executive team. What Were Looking For
MBA from a top 10 business school
2+ years in a management consulting or investment banking analyst role
Excellent communicator in written and verbal form.
Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives.
Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Organized and strong time management skills.
