Your New Role...

As a Data Intelligence Analyst within the Global Product Operations, Fraud and Payments Risk team you will leverage your strong technical skills to develop metrics, frameworks and analytical approaches to better understand the nuance around Fraud, Abuse and Payments Operations at Warner Bros. Discovery. This team is focused on detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis to further develop the strategic risk mitigation priorities of our streaming platforms.

The Daily

• Monitor Key KPIs and identify emerging anomalies, sharing recommendations for further analysis as needed
• Brainstorm, develop, and backtest key Risk KPIs while ensuring stakeholder awareness during development
• Deep dive into available data using SQL, Python, Tableau, Looker, or other available data analysis and visitation tools
• Design and build dashboard and underlying insights using ETL principles
• Conduct root cause analysis of events to identify emerging fraud trends and provide recommendations to management for proper response considering impact to all stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience…

• Strong experience navigating complex date systems using SQL, Python, or R
• Strong analytical skill developing dashboarding on platforms like PowerBi, Tableau, and/or Looker
• Experience working with cloud-computing platforms such as Snowflake, dbt, etc.
• 2+ years experience querying, visualizing, and presenting data
• Experience using Python or other scripting language in data-focused fullstack environments
• Detail oriented with strong analytical, communication (verbal and written), problem-solving, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Bachelor's degree, MS or greater in quantitative field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics

Nice to Haves

• Tangential experience in cybersecurity practices.
• Understanding of Chargeback & Payment lifecycles
• Track record of thinking outside the box to identify patterns across different information sources.
• Media, entertainment and/or subscription services experience.
• International business experience in Europe and/or Latin America, second languages a plus

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $54,600.00 - $101,400.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
