Job Description
This position can be Remote/Hybrid


Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Effectively communicate actionable results through compelling data storytelling across the organization
  • Analyze trends in bookings, revenue and market dynamics
  • Apply analytics techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis) on large-scale, high-dimensional data to help drive business decisions
  • Predict customer demand to optimize revenue opportunities either via price, customer segmentation, or sales channel
  • Assess demand patterns and market conditions to determine competitive landscape and segment customers
  • Analyze customer behavior (e.g., Product Preference, Purchase Patterns) to identify unmet customer needs and untapped content opportunities
  • Monitor, initiate and communicate industry pricing actions including changes to fare levels, fare rules, policies, and pricing strategy execution
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis support for stakeholders to help move the business forward
  • Work cross-functionally with Inventory Management, Sales, Marketing, and other teams to ensure alignment on market level strategies
  • Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs, measuring performance for both tactical and strategic decision-making


Requirements & Qualifications


  • Ability to independently structure/resolve problems by incorporating/balancing relevant factors and grasping mathematical concepts related to inventory/revenue management
  • Familiarity with cruise revenue management concepts and/or prior revenue management experience, especially in the travel industry.
  • Must be able to work well with others in a time-sensitive team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Functional Data Analytics, Economics, or equivalent knowledge
  • Remain constantly curious and ready to tackle every hypothesis
  • Experience with Tableau, SQL, and R and/or Python is a must
  • 2 years+ revenue analytics experience preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical ability and strong oral/written communication skills are also required
  • Outstanding data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication
