The role


The Retail Marketing Associate will work within the ONE Retail Marketing team to ensure projects get done on time and within budget. The Retail Marketing Associate will collaborate with key players on our marketing team to make sure that each project gets the resources and attention it needs to be successful. The marketing associate will also be responsible for handling correspondence with 3PL (third party labor) and communicating with other departments within the company to keep retail marketing projects on track.


You will be reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager of Retail at ONE and will help bring to life retail marketing initiatives that will be executed across all retail locations where ONE is sold.


This role is responsible for:


  • Working with in-store teams to enable them to deliver on the merchandising strategy.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to deliver visual merchandising training guidelines and best practices for how ONE shows up in retail.
  • Keeping retail marketing materials ready by coordinating requirements and creative briefs with ONE creative department.
  • Preparing retail merchandising results by collecting and summarizing key performance indicators provided by 3PLs.
  • Developing and leading the implementation of new creative directions for our Visual Merchandising, together with the Senior Marketing Manager of Retail.
  • Analyzing data provided by 3PL merchandising teams, identifies trouble areas that require revisits and puts an action plan in place.
  • Partnering closely with Walmart’s buying, merchandising, OPS and marketing team to ensure on time delivery of ONE retail marketing assets.
  • Taking creative risks – developing a test and learn strategy to constantly improve retail marketing program effectiveness.
  • Implementing retail marketing and in-store campaigns by working closely with 3PLs contracted by ONE.
  • Traveling to Walmart store locations to work with these teams directly to gather feedback on retail merchandising programs.


You bring


  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment, setting and maintaining high standards for yourself and team
  • Proven quantitative skills, able to translate data into insights and action.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Great organizational skills.
  • Experience working with brands sold in retail bricks and mortar stores.
  • 3-5 years of retail marketing or visual merchandising program management.
  • Flexibility to travel
  • The ability to influence, lead and direct those around you
  • Proficiency in Excel - vLookups, pivot tables, etc.
  • Proficiency in the retail marketing creative process.


Pay Transparency


The estimated annual base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 - $175,000. Pay is generally based upon the level, complexity, responsibility, and job duties / requirements of the specific position. We then source candidates with the requisite skills, expertise, education, training, and experience. Leveling Philosophy


In order to thoughtfully scale the company and avoid downstream inequities, we’ve adopted a flat titling structure at ONE. Though we may occasionally post a role externally with a prefix such as “Senior” to reflect the external level of the position, we do not use prefixes in titles like that internally unless in a position which manages a team. Internal titles typically include your specific functional responsibility, such as engineering, product management or sales, and often include additional descriptors to ensure clarity of role and placement within our organization (i.e. “Engineer, Platform”, “Sales, Business Development” or “Manager, Talent”). Employees are paid commensurate with their experience and the internal level within ONE.
