Job Description
Business Management optimizes business performance by helping to drive key initiatives. We act as trusted advisors and counterweight to Business/Group Heads, and are responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks. The role of a business manager associate is dynamic and can vary from business to business, in line with the priorities of the different lines of business.


Job Responsibilities


  • Participate in and support ad-hoc special projects and requests as needed
  • Develop deep knowledge to become the team's subject matter expert on key focus areas
  • Analyze financial performance and identify/help drive productivity initiatives
  • Prepare Divisional and Regional business review packages and attend field business reviews
  • Preparation of periodic and ad hoc analysis to support financial and strategic goals
  • Support and help to implement new business strategy and strategic initiatives with a focus on understanding and optimizing results
  • Contribute to divisional / national initiatives (includes owning and driving certain projects on divisional / national level)


Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
  • Strong follow-through, initiative and sense of urgency
  • Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple project deliverables
  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant Financial Services experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong relationships across the organization
  • Must be results-oriented and focused on the delivery of solutions, with superior attention to detail


Preferred Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities


  • Overall branch knowledge and base knowledge of Retail Banking Financial Systems a plus
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and other financial applications; experience with Tableau a plus


Candidates must be able to physically work in our Columbus, OH office 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined by direct management.
