Research Assistant-Healthcare Data (Remote)

Job Summary

Hiring Company is seeking a qualified individual to work with a multidisciplinary research team on a variety of data-oriented health services and home- and community-based services research projects for federal government clients. Hiring Company’s health services research and policy portfolio is focused on innovative health care delivery, alternative Medicare and Medicaid payment, quality of care and quality measurement, health information technology and exchange, patient and caregiver experience with healthcare and patient safety.

Job Responsibilities

• Conducting quality control checks on data and reports.
• Producing infographics and other data visualization products to effectively present data/results.
• Supporting content updates for websites.
• Responding to technical assistance requests through phone calls and e-mail communications and producing reports on technical assistance provided.
• Assisting in project-related public communications activities.
• Performing data management and manipulation using MS Excel spreadsheets.
• Supporting data collection, data submission, and data intake.
• Developing agendas and supporting internal and external meetings, webinars, and large conference calls involving clients, experts and stakeholders.
• Writing meeting or call notes and managing follow through of action items.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience and skill working with data.
• A bachelor's degree in social sciences, public health or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one (1) or more years of research project experience in a health-related area.

Other Required Qualifications

• Experience and skill working with MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated communication skills.
• Organization skills, including time management ability.
• Detail oriented.
• Collaboration with teams, managers and/or clients.
