Title: Research Administrator
Location: NYC
Schedule: Monday-Friday; hybrid
Salary: $80k-85k
*Must have research experience and has supported a research department*
Responsibilities:
- Process and approve expense reports, reimbursements, and invoices for research staff and consultants.
- Assist in project and budget management matters.
- Enhance communication and documentation of processes with the Finance team.
- Track conference attendance for division staff.
- Act as a resource for Research Administrative Team and Research Division administration queries.
- Submit expense reports and reimbursements for the Research Management Team and Research Administrative Team.
- Onboarding and offboarding processes for research staff..
- Assist in knowledge management initiatives within the Research Administrative Team and Research Division.
- Act as a project manager for Research Administrative Team projects and Research Division awards.
- Monitor and document division activities and publications for internal databases and reports.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely payments and address payment issues.
- Support travel arrangements for both internal research staff and external colleagues.
- Maintain and update divisional resources, serving as a point of reference for information.
- Draft, proofread, and format division documents, utilizing various platforms.
- Provide training on Zotero to Research staff when necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:
-Strong communication skills, interacting professionally with colleagues at various levels.
-Experience in coordinating complex work projects and schedules for multiple teams.
-Keen attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency in all tasks.
-Demonstrated organizational and administrative skills.
-Bachelor's degree and two (2) years' experience or 4-6 years of relevant research administration experience.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent computer skills.
-Familiarity with project management software preferred.
-Ability to handle confidential information and materials
