Full-time Junior Market Research Assistant Position - Work from home flexibility

Monitor and forecast marketing and sales trends.

Measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and strategies.

Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data, such as surveys, questionnaires, and opinion polls.

Develop surveys and tabulate results.

Gather data on consumers, competitors, and market conditions.

Update job information in our database through data entry

Search property information through online county websites, other internal and external tools

Interact with our customers and construction companies by telephone and email

Work on deadlines prioritized by our SLA with our customers

Correct inaccuracies and fills in gaps based on our customer’s data

Assist in knowledge management initiatives within the Research Administrative Team and Research Division.

Assist in project and budget management matters.

Submit expense reports and reimbursements for the Research Management Team and Research Administrative Team.

-Familiarity with project management software preferred.

Act as a project manager for Research Administrative Team projects and Research Division awards.

Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely payments and address payment issues.

Demonstrated competence in the use of spreadsheet and database software in financial analysis, fiscal management and financial reports.

Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training

1-3 years Thorough knowledge of financial processes, policies and procedures.

Thorough understanding of research administration guidelines of Federal and non-Federal sponsors supporting research and educational activities, preferably in a university environment.

Ability to manage significant volume of transactions.

Ability to maintain independent judgment; strong organization and communication skills; and a customer service focus across broad and diverse subject areas.

Review/monitor grant spending and work with the appropriate parties to manage and/or resolve any issues or concerns.

2-3 years of experience in grant and contract administration

Strong written and oral communication skills

Guides and prepares PI’s and departmental administration through budget revisions, no-cost extensions, and/or related materials as necessary.

Assist with the management of market research projects, including coordinating project timelines, overseeing data collection, and ensuring project milestones are met

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating reports and presentations

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment

Collaborate with both internal and external partners to oversee correct execution of listing services, competitive market analyses and research studies

Assist in the development and implementation of market research surveys and focus groups to gather data from potential homebuyers
