Job Description
Take It Easy is a group of passionate fractional Executive Business Partners who are on a mission to redefine how CEOs and Founders scale their businesses.

The Role


Your Responsibilities Will Include


  • Assist with managing the Board of Directors
  • PA duties, including gifting, reservations, confirming appointments, personal travel, etc.
  • Maximize the client’s efficiency - you are on top of their inbox, responding on their behalf and keeping the operation running smoothly
  • Manage event planning and travel/accommodations/arrangements
  • Organize and coordinate executive outreach and external relations
  • Record and submit expense reports
  • Operations Management - from creating SOPs, external and internal presentations and taking meeting minutes, you are organized and driving the client’s goals
  • Calendar Management - Clients know where they are supposed to be and when their materials are prepped and their calendars reflect their ideal days
  • When necessary, represent the CEO/Founder by attending meetings in their absence and speaking on their behalf
  • Other ad hoc duties to keep a start-up running smoothly

  • Working hours: Monday – Friday office hours, with additional time as needed (we are EAs after all!)

You're a seasoned Executive Assistant know knows what it means to be a strategic business partner, or a Chief of Staff (CoS) who thrives in supporting start-up growth. You know you are more than cookie-cutter support staff and have the experience to prove it! You are looking to break free from the corporate world and become a part of a company where we support growth and build businesses.

  • Minimum of 3 years experience working with startups
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Deliberate and forward-thinking in approaching challenges
  • Thrives in a collaborative yet fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about being an Executive Assistant and helping others succeed
  • Located in North America
  • Resilient and highly motivated
  • Readily adapts personal, interpersonal, and leadership behaviour, understanding that different situations may call for alternative approaches
  • Extremely comfortable with new technology
  • Think outside the box, and aren't afraid to ask questions and look for new/different solutions
  • Loves to create order
  • Creative problem-solver adapts well to change, and can independently resolve any challenges by proposing and executing solutions
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity, navigating uncertain situations, and driving for clarity
  • Experience in start-up fundraising is an asset
  • Can exhibit extremely high attention to detail, especially in operational responsibilities
  • 10+ years as an EA, COS, or similar supporting a variety of executives and teams, preferably C-level support experience
  • Extensive knowledge of GSuite, Office, Zoom, Teams, Slack, Asana, Trello, Notion
