Remote Recovery Counselor (Lmsw, Lcsw, Lmft)

Schedule:

3-day work week + weekends
40 hours per week including weekend sessions, at least twice a month

As a Recovery Counselor at Workit Health, you will be responsible for providing clinical intervention to members with various Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and mental health disorders through various modalities, with an intensive focus on group treatment. Recovery Counselors are full-time employees that work primarily remotely and can provide all services via telehealth platforms or in person.
Job Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility without compromising clinical effectiveness.
• Provide clinically supportive SUD services by facilitating therapeutic, didactic, supportive, and motivational groups.
• Fluency and mastery of motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques in individual and group formats.
• Participation in meetings, supervision, and clinical audits.
• Prepare all related documentation by applicable organizational and state standards in a clear, thorough, and timely manner.
• Maintain standards of confidentiality, HIPAA, and 42 CFR Part II.
• Facilitate needed interventions for crisis-oriented issues utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach.
• Commitment to Harm Reduction philosophy in all aspects of clinical practice.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Review clinical coursework completed by members.
• Complete new evaluations with members seeking to enroll in a variety of programs.
• Comfort in diagnosing and treating adults and adolescents with a variety of diagnoses.
• Excels at leading groups both individually and with curriculum.
• Complete grant evaluations and monitor members' progress monthly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (Required)
• Enthusiasm for revolutionizing the way addiction is addressed and treated is necessary.
• One (1) year of experience providing SUD services in an inpatient or outpatient setting
• Master's degree (Required)
• Fluency in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) skills. MET training is a plus.
• Michigan state licensure: LMSW, LCSW (Required)
• Professionalism, punctuality, flexibility, and reliability are a must.
• Must be able to develop clear and concise reports in a timely manner.
• Ability and willingness to complete work independently online; familiarity with Google Drive, spreadsheets, documentation, video conferencing, and secure email.
