Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced JavaScript Developer to join our growing education technology company. As a JavaScript Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software products that will help students and educators around the world.
Responsibilities
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Write clean, well-documented and maintainable code
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Participate in code review, testing and debugging
  • Develop, maintain and enhance web applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies
  • Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of web development principles and practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with React, Vue or Angular
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in JavaScript development
  • Familiarity with Git version control
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS and related technologies
Bonus Points
  • Experience with education technology or e-learning platforms
  • Experience with server-side JavaScript (Node.js)
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
