Job Description
Position Purpose


Do you have an interest in eCommerce and Interconnected Merchandising? Are you passionate about driving results? The position will be responsible for analyzing the brand's online performance and for identifying opportunities for improvement in areas such as product assortment, digital content, promotions and returns. The Brand Advocate Sr. Analyst will also ensure that new and promotional items are optimized and offer support when suppliers need help with online/system troubleshooting. This role will also be responsible for using industry expertise to build strategic plans and lead presentations with supplier and merchandising partners. In addition, this role will allow for the opportunity to improve processes that can be leveraged across the organization via mentorship and SME opportunities. The Brand Advocate Sr. Analyst will cultivate strong partnerships with merchants, cross functionals and strategic suppliers to drive traffic, conversion, and interconnected sales through content optimization, process improvement and analytics. This role is customer focused and will be responsible for building out robust project plans that promote brand growth.


Major Tasks, Responsibilities And Key Accountabilities


  • 10% - Offers industry expertise and acts as the subject matter expert for the supported assortment/category.
  • 20% - Partners with stakeholders to build project plans that support strategic growth, drive incremental revenue, and improve the online experience to drive conversion.
  • 5% - Serves as a mentor across the organization by providing supplemental onboarding and training.
  • 20% - Creates and leads presentations with stakeholders to share project wins, analysis results, and to gain alignment on future opportunities.
  • 10% - Champions the facilitation of continuous process improvement that can be leveraged across the organization.
  • 15% - Collaborates with suppliers and cross-functional partners to manage content changes, SKU presentation, and brand performance throughout the product's lifecycle. In addition, provides on-site support for product set-up, onboarding, and troubleshooting.
  • 5% - Builds system knowledge and expertise through ongoing tailored, training classes.
  • 15% - Tracks content performance, digital asset management, assortment opportunities via regular reporting.


Environment


ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS


Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.


Travel


Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.


Essential Skills


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


Must be eighteen years of age or older.


Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.


Additional Minimum Qualifications


Education Required: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job


Years of Relevant Work Experience: 3+ years


Physical Requirements: Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with Vendor Management Systems, Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, and Merchandising
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau and Adobe products
  • Agility to learn database systems and web-based platforms
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Manages multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Proven record of working with major consumer brands while supporting them in an agile, interconnected environment
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
