Title : Regulatory Compliance Lead

Location : New York/Jersey or Tampa (Hybrid)

Duration: 6 months

Key Responsibilities

• Support the definition of control requirements and control standards appropriate for the relevant regulations:

o 12 USC 24 (Seventh);

o Corporate Activities for National Banks (at 12 CFR 5);

o Activities and Operations (at 12 CFR 7);

o Standards for Safety and Soundness (12 CFR 30.1-30.7, Appendix A);

o OCC Guidelines Establishing Heightened Standards for Certain Large Insured National Banks, Insured Federal Savings Associations, and Insured Federal Branches (12 CFR 30, Appendix D);

o Regulation O (12 CFR 215);

o Regulation Y (12 CFR Part 225) (sub-part A, B, C, E and H).

• Assist with the review of existing controls and identify the gaps between existing controls and the control requirements

Qualifications

Knowledge and experience

• Prior experience working in a Compliance of Legal function or experience in Internal Audit advising on/auditing regulatory compliance is highly desirable

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience ( - law degree/qualification would be an advantage)

• Proven track record in problem-solving in relation to non-financial controls

• 5+ years minimum relevant experience

• Prior experience in regulatory driven remediation e.g., MRA, Consent Order etc. and advantage
