Job Description
Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Manager, Member Regulatory Communications to join our Member & Provider Lifecycle team.

About The Role
This role is accountable and responsible for operations for Oscar's population of members and member communications on behalf of +Oscar clients. The scope of your work will involve, but is not limited to, Member ID Card design and fulfillment, regulatory notice drafting and mailing, configuration of outbound campaigns. You will be also responsible for managing vendor relationships including monitoring of cost, fulfillment, and quality.
You will report to the Senior Manager, Regulatory Communications.

This is a hybrid role in our New York City office. You will work part of the time in the office and part of the time remote / work-from-home.
Pay Transparency
The base pay for this role in the state of New York is: $103,200- $129,000 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities
  • Establish a comprehensive repository of legal guidelines and communication resources that can be accessed by Oscar markets for assigned products.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to track and communicate regulatory guidelines and updates.
  • Managing projects, while adhering to project timelines and competing priorities.
  • Oversee the review and editing of procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Manage a quality program which includes checks and balances aimed at limiting rework. This includes building a monitoring program for identification of cost incurred as a result of upstream errors.
  • Promoting cross-training, knowledge management, and problem-solving across the organization.
  • Maintaining partnerships with important vendors, working to ensure that quality is maintained, cost is controlled, and all provisions of our vendor agreements are completed.
  • Assist the Sr. Manager with project management for cross-functional initiatives.
  • Collaborating with Oscar's technology teams to ensure successful configuration and execution of print/mail jobs.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with partners.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of work experience in health insurance, consulting, healthcare, and operations
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, design, implementation or ongoing operations management
  • Experience with developing and monitoring the fulfillment of customer collateral.
  • (A bachelor's degree or commensurate 4 years of experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a communications role.
  • 4 + years of experience leading and developing a team
Bonus points
  • Experience in a client facing/vendor management role
  • Consulting or similar experience
  • Experience developing and fulfilling member welcome and renewal kits as well as other regulatory comms.
  • Lean / Six Sigma experience

Pay Transparency
Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
