Lumenpulse requires a Regional Sales Manager to join its growing team in the Upper-Midwest region. This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales professional who is looking to advance their career with an entrepreneurial and dynamic organization. Reporting to the VPof Sales - USA, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for promoting Lumenpulse products, and ensuring the achievement of sales goals and profit objectives in defined geographical territories within North America. This position requires the Regional Sales Manager to reside within a major city in the Territory, such as Minneapolis/St. Paul, Madison, Milwaukee, St. Louis, or Kansas City, although other cities may be considered for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues within the organization
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Collaborate with local manufacturer representatives to develop and execute sales strategy within the assigned territory:
- Define sales goals/targets and actively evaluate progress toward those goals
- Conduct thorough product training & evaluate uptake
- Manage sales activities and ensure proper market penetration
- Evaluate and report agent sales figures
- Manage sales pipeline
- Represent Lumenpulse at marketing events (trade shows, symposiums, etc.)
- Evaluate and report agent sales figures
- Manage special projects as requested by the Director of Sales
- Conduct sales calls (presentations) within territory in conjunction with representatives
- Be the "face" of the Company in assigned territory
- Define sales goals/targets and actively evaluate progress toward those goals
- Develop long-term sales forecasts; report and update data on a regular basis
- Participate in (sometimes multiple) weekly conference calls with colleagues
- Manage sales activities and ensure proper market penetration
- Evaluate and report on competition activity within the territory
- Manage sales pipeline
- Conduct thorough product training & evaluate uptake

Education Required
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Qualifications Required and Working Conditions
- Diplomatic; able to assess tough political situations and make recommendations on course of action
- Demonstrates a sense of initiative and autonomy
- Available for frequent (10-15 days/month) overnight travel
- Innovative and creative
- Must be results-oriented and analytical
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple (sometimes un-related) tasks
- Technical aptitude - knowledge of current lighting technology, applications, and standards
- Embraces change
- Knowledge of lighting agency sales-channel model
- Possess strong communication and negotiation skills
- Must combine strong interpersonal skills with drive and tenacity
- Specification lighting sales experience either working for a manufacturer or Rep firm in Outside or Specification Sales. Other relevant customer-facing experience may be considered
