What We Do

How you’ll contribute
The RNS is an educational resource deployed to help ensure that physicians, nurses and other allied healthcare professionals are sufficiently educated and trained on the safe and effective use of the Company's commercially marketed products.
  • Ensure that healthcare professionals managing patients on UT products are current with respect to the latest information and techniques associated with therapy initiation, adverse effect mitigation, device utilization, and dosing, among others
  • Act as a resource to HCPs with regard to practical issues associated with using UT products, such as infusion pump options, adverse event management (such as infusion site pain management) and dosing/titration
  • Attend and participate in pertinent programs related to UT products and disease states, as directed by their manager to maintain high level competency
  • Work through HCPs to support new patient therapeutic initiation and the referral process, helping to ensure that prescribers have the tools and education necessary to successfully and safely start patients on UT products
  • Perform other duties or support special projects as directed by the Program Director
  • Support prescribers, nurses and other allied healthcare professionals new to UT Product(s) with all aspects of the product to include indications, dosing and adverse effect management; provide practical guidance on appropriate product administration techniques and patient follow-up based on good clinical practice

For this role you will need
Minimum Requirements
  • RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure (active in at least one state, multi-state preferred)
  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or Associates Degree with 4+ years of experience working in cardiology or pulmonology and/or relevant nurse educator experience
  • DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State
  • Drivers license in good standing
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work as part of a larger team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong teaching and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 80%
Territory to include: CO, AZ, WY, NM
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Nursing (BSN)
  • Multi-Lingual
  • 1+ PAH Coordinator or PAH Clinical Practice experience
  • Project Management skills
