Job Description

Summary of the role:

As an integral part of global Customer Success organization within Amadeus Travel Unit, our mission is to provide business consulting and management support services to the travel industry for sustainable business outcomes. To achieve this, we utilize our unique blend of in-depth business and technology expertise, develop innovative analytics driven solutions, and deploy Industry best practices tailor-made to our customers’ needs.

To further strengthen our team, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Head to lead ABC operations in the Americas region. The successful candidate will be based out of Dallas and will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base in North, Central and South America. The Regional Head will facilitate and manage Customer engagements utilizing our centralized pool of experienced consultants and subject matter experts and work closely with Amadeus Regional leadership team to deliver high-quality business consulting & management support services to our customers.


In this role you’ll:

Engagement Lead

  • Collaborate with ABC and Americas Region leadership team to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to existing Customers
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to ABC consultants to support their professional development and enhance Customer engagement
  • Oversee consulting engagements with Customers, including scoping, project planning, execution, and delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers, acting as the primary point of contact for all aspects of consulting engagements in Americas
  • Ensure high-quality results are delivered on time and within budget, and meet or exceed Customers’ expectations


Business Development

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Amadeus to ensure alignment on strategy, business development, and Customer service delivery
  • Represent Amadeus & ABC at industry events and conferences to build relationships with potential Customers and partners
  • Develop and execute a regional growth strategy for ABC in the Americas region, including identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing Customer relationships
  • Build and manage a high-performing project teams, providing on-the-job mentorship and guidance to support their professional development and Customer engagement
  • Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets for the region
  • Develop deep understanding of industry trends and Customer needs in Americas to tailor-make our service portfolio
  • Develop partnerships aimed at scaling up ABC delivery capabilities in Americas


Practice Lead

Depending on the candidate’s profile, background and interests the Regional Head for Americas will have a possibility to contribute to ABC global operations by developing methodologies and building innovative services portfolio for specific Customer segments or business domains or/and contribute to Amadeus strategic topics globally


Minimum Requirements:

  • The position will require around 30% of time for travel internationally.
  • Master’s degree from a top-tier university or a business school in business or business-related field and/or extensive related work experience. MBA from a top-tier business school would be strongly preferred
  • Good understanding of Amadeus solutions portfolio or a strong affinity to travel technology and capability to quickly learn
  • 5+ years of direct consulting experience or work in consulting-like areas like strategy, business planning, financial management
  • Fluent English, with excellent speaking and writing skills
  • 15+ direct airline work experience or experience as an aviation consultant across several airline business domains, e.g. network planning, revenue management, commercial management and operations
