Job Description

This position is a contract to hire FTE with competitive base, commission plan and excellent benefits package once converted.

*This individual will need to be based in the Greater Seattle area*


Our Practice Recruiting Director is an integral part of growing our footprint and building strong talent pools in our Core Accounts division, as well as delivering strong financial results for the company. This role is responsible for providing account leadership in Our long-term core accounts, serving as an expert in candidate generation and placement, and driving ongoing business expansion activities.


Our Core accounts division is responsible for fulfilling roles such as Executive Admin, HR roles, Property/Lease Management roles, customer service as well as accounting, payroll and purchasing roles. Knowledge of the Seattle market is critical, and they must be able to lead in a fast pace and high touch quality environment. This role is a player/coach in that the Recruiting Director will be managing their own book of clients from an account management and order fulfillment perspective.




The role is considered a professional position within the organization and has three direct reports.

Essential Functions – Recruiting

  • Maintain accurate information throughout the candidate lifecycle in Applicant Tracking System (BULLHORN) and Vendor Management System (VMS).
  • Accurately assess candidate hard and soft skills to successfully match with customer work environments and positions.
  • Develop and create new sourcing techniques and help identify ways to increase ROI on existing methodologies.
  • Apply expertise in candidate qualification via phone, virtual, and face-to-face interview techniques.
  • Build a strong recruiter brand and engage with the talent community to drive referrals and increase visibility
  • Generate a pipeline of active and passive candidates for skillsets represented by the Core Accounts business line.
  • Manage a dynamic portfolio of contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire roles.
  • Manage and coach division recruiters on process, methodologies, approach, and results.
  • Utilize knowledge of the staffing industry and effective recruitment practices to convey our differentiators to clients and candidates. Collect and share candidate feedback with management to identify ways we can be a stronger market competitor.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of both traditional and non-traditional sourcing avenues, as well as complex sourcing methodologies (Boolean).
  • Develop grassroots recruiting sources through networking and social media outreach.

Essential Functions – Account Management

  • Present candidates to the account and follow up on candidate submissions.
  • Act as the first point of contact for resolving client concerns and/or complaints and escalate issues if needed.
  • Involvement in Order Intake calls and communicate with clients to ensure needs or issues are understood and addressed.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with customer contacts, including job order qualification, consistent check-ins, and ownership of fulfillment activities and timelines.
  • Act as the “voice of the client” within our organization to ensure client expectations are met, with a focus on continually improving the customer experience.
  • Serve as an essential partner to our company Sales Executives by maintaining open lines of communication to ensure successful placements. Cultivate and share potential opportunities to expand service footprint within the account.

Essential Functions - People Management

  • Responsible for hiring, training and professional development of the recruiting and sourcing team within the division.
  • Provide a positive work environment for those on the team where each person has the opportunity to thrive.
  • Provide Quality Control oversight for candidate submissions and ensure that pay and billing is correct within the ATS system.
  • Engage in regular and timely feedback to the team in order to assist with order fulfillment and client management
  • Provide guidance and support to recruitment team in partnering with the sales executives and operations team.

  • Consistently exceed personal target metrics for key performance areas (prescreens/interviews conducted, submittals, placements, submittal-to-fill ratio, etc.).
  • Understand the “big picture” and align with company goals and business initiatives.
  • Actively contribute to strategic planning and initiatives that drive results in key accounts
  • Ensure ongoing process improvement and quality service delivery.
  • Support and embrace the sales process by building strong relationships with the sales team and providing account management
  • Deliver consistent performance while managing changing priorities.
  • Maintain a strong sense of urgency to deliver quickly within a competitive landscape
  • Demonstrate ongoing subject matter expertise in evolving sourcing strategies and share knowledge across the team to help build more effective practices.

Requirements:

  • Ability to successfully manage, prioritize, and close candidate searches/orders with a high sense of urgency.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to help resolve customer complaints or needs.
  • Experience sourcing, tracking, managing candidates in ATS
  • Strong technical aptitude and advanced user of tools such as Teams, Zoom, LinkedIn, MS Word, social media, etc. Strong Excel skills a plus.
  • Previous accountability for recruiting team production and profit and loss (P&L) results.
  • Proven success in achieving personal results to drive overall company profitability
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in recruiting in a Staffing Firm/Agency with a high touch, customer centric emphasis. At least two years of experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Ability to manage competing customer priorities and deliver excellent customer service
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to quickly build trust and influence with candidates and clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and effectiveness in customer and candidate interactions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with different types of clients and work effectively in a team-based environment.
