Job Summary: The Recruiting Manager will develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization. This position will partner with corporate leaders to anticipate and meet the evolving staffing needs of the company. Open positions will be filled as quickly as possible, with the best talent possible, while remaining compliant with company processes and State and Federal employment laws.
Essential Functions: Include the summary above and the following:
- Assist in the facilitation of screening tools to include background checks, references, scheduling of drug testing, and reviewing validated assessments.
- Work in conjunction with the marketing team and Communications Manager to develop a strategy for recruiting signage.
- Travel as required – Regular daily travel, occasional overnight travel.
- Maintain sourcing methods and oversee placement of job postings (internal, job boards, social media, job fairs, etc.)
- Develop and implement a strategy to reduce time to hire from 12 to 10 days.
- Conduct all elements of the recruiting and screening process, establish and communicate process to Field Recruiters and Hiring Managers, coordinate final interviews for corporate hiring authorities as needed.
- Prepare necessary business correspondence or directly communicate hiring decisions to candidates or external recruiters.
- Serve as the brand ambassador for the Spinx Employment brand.
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Human Resources
- Responsible for setting and achieving recruitment goals as outlined in the recruitment scorecard.
- Develop and maintain a network of business partners for recruiting assistance and programs, to include external staffing agencies; job board providers; college, tech, and university career centers; local government workforce centers, etc.
- Engage in cross-functional projects and other HR related duties as assigned.
- Assist in the creation of Employment Marketing strategies.
- Assists Communications Manager with marketing & advertising to maintain content for career section on company website.
- Responsible for recruitment of managers in training and support staff team members.
- Fully utilize and train others on the Applicant Tracking and On-Boarding systems
- Organize and lead recruiting and screening for new store openings and store acquisitions.
- Computer skills including MSOffice and in-depth knowledge of data mining and internet research.
- Unfailing honesty, integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality with protected information.
- Demonstrated knowledge of end-to-end recruitment lifecycle processes.
- Proven ability to handle large volumes of exempt and non-exempt openings quickly.
- Current knowledge of regulatory agencies governing employment law.
- Knowledge of standard Human Resource practices and procedures.
- Strong perception of people and able to relate to people at all levels.
- 2-year degree and 5 years of staffing/recruiting experience required; 4-year degree preferred.
- Current SC Driver’s License, required auto insurance, reliable means of transportation and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills demonstrating appropriate tact and professionalism with a wide range of individuals.
