We are currently seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. This position is located in our Menlo Park, CA office and requires regular time in the office. In this position, you will play a critical role in our efforts to identify and recruit talented Ph.D. level engineers and scientists for consulting positions within Exponent. This role offers a unique ability to gain exposure to many areas of the talent acquisition and HR worlds. Some of your core job responsibilities will be supporting our many recruiting events, scheduling interviews, owning the reporting of our key metrics and preparing presentations for corporate meetings. You will play an integral role in facilitating company growth within a rapidly growing international firm. Your responsibilities will include:
- Posting job requisitions on LinkedIn, Handshake, and other job boards
- Supporting our robust recruiting program, spanning 100+ universities and conferences
- Scheduling interviews
- Generating and distributing recruiting reports
- Managing our recruiting event schedule, registering for events, and coordinating event logistics
- Communicating in a friendly, professional, and inclusive manner with candidates
- Opportunities to travel to local recruiting events (occasionally)
- Preparing reports and slide decks for corporate meetings
- Actively participating in weekly recruiting team meetings
- Adhering to a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
- Collaborating with engineers and scientists across all practices
- Supporting the recruiting team on projects and initiatives as needed
- Maintaining accurate records of recruiting activity in our applicant tracking system (iCIMS), creating candidate profiles, and capturing interview activity
- Working alongside a diverse and dynamic team of recruiters to identify and recruit exceptional talent across a variety of technical disciplines
You will have the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience using iCIMS, our applicant tracking system (preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience in recruiting coordination or recruiting operations (required)
- An interest in working as part of a dynamic team of HR professionals
- Strong initiative and drive to develop professionally and grow within the firm
- Experience building dashboards and reporting on key metrics (preferred)
- Ability to effectively communicate information in person and in writing
- Proficiency with Excel and an interest in learning more (required)
- Ability to multi-task, navigate changing situations and take ownership of events and projects
- Bachelor's degree (required)
- A detail-oriented and highly organized work style
- Desire to imbue and uphold our initiatives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Previous experience in project, program or event management (a plus)
- Enthusiastic and able to work in the office a minimum of three days a week (required)

Compensation
The pay rate for this position is $33.66 - $36.06 depending on experience and capabilities which will be assessed during the interview process.
