What's the opportunity? 🤔


Intercom is looking for a Recruiter (1 year fixed term contract) to help scale our organization and contribute to our team’s growth and success. You will drive full cycle recruitment for positions across our Tech, Product, Sales, Marketing, G&A teams. You will effectively partner with leadership and be a strategic talent partner and advisor across the organization. You will leverage your recruiting expertise and deep knowledge of Intercom’s business to design strategy and differentiate Intercom in the market. You will proactively identify opportunities and solutions to improve and iterate on recruiting processes and partner with stakeholders to drive solutions forward.


This job is available if your permanent residence in the following states; Florida, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina.


What will I be doing? 🚀


  • Leverage data to diagnose challenges in a search, proactively create and execute solutions and influence and advice stakeholders.
  • Attracts and converts passive talent through effective and authentic storytelling of company strategy and business goals.
  • Partner with Intercom’s leaders and Hiring Managers to deeply understand their needs.
  • Provide an excellent candidate experience and serve as a trusted partner.
  • Influence and advise stakeholders on their recruiting approach, strategy, and processes.
  • Manage the full cycle recruiting process for technical & non-technical hires by creating robust pipelines through active sourcing of multiple channels, screening resumes, interviewing, and closing candidates


What skills do I need? 📖


  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
  • 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience in a high growth tech environment.
  • Aligned with Intercom’s values; growth mindset, highly collaborative, work with a sense of urgency and obsess about customer success.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding hiring goals.
  • Creative recruiting approach and capable of attracting and converting talent.
  • Passion for building and managing diverse pipelines.
  • Data and metrics driven, ability to use data to inform decisions.
  • Expertise and talent market intelligence across business teams and technical teams (GTM, G&A, Engineering, Product, and Design)

The base salary range for this role is targeted at $121,600 - $164,500 for New York. Actual base pay will depend on a variety of factors such as education, skills, experience, location, etc. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All regular employees may also be eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Please note that this information is only provided publicly for candidates in California, Colorado, New York and Washington, but the role is open to candidates outside of those locations as well.
