Contract Recruiter (Luxury Retail)

Our client in the luxury fashion space is seeking a Corporate Retail Recruitment Consultant to partner with business leaders to drive the hiring process. This role will support the Retail recruitment for the organization. This is a hybrid position operating out of our client's Midtown West NYC location.

Responsibilities:

• Own hiring manager relationship and advisement on recruiting processes, current market trends and candidate pipeline development strategy.
• Ability to be self-sufficient, in addition to above, will be scheduling interviews, conducting references, and onboarding new hires.
• Additional recruitment related responsibilities.
• Ability to influence managers and leaders on hiring decisions.
• Own full lifecycle recruitment responsibilities, including sourcing, assessing, and closing talent for the Company’s retail positions.
• Develop innovative tactics to build talent pipelines.
• Maintain control of requisition and recruiting process, communicating often and driving towards a timely hiring decision.

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to build trust with recruiting peers, hiring managers, business leaders and HR colleagues.
• Highly skilled in sourcing candidates using a variety of tools, including LinkedIn recruiter.
• Ability to assess talent with strong differentiation, choosing the best talent to move forward to hire.
• A minimum of 5 years in-house or agency recruiting experience, or equivalent, relevant experience.
• Must have experience recruiting for retail roles within a luxury fashion brand.
• Applicant Tracking System experience. MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
