Job Description
An excellent firm in Bakersfield is looking for a Temporary Receptionist to cover a maternity coverage!! This position will be from the end of July 2023 through November 2023. This Receptionist will assist and provide support for this established law firm! Below are the job duties for this position


  • Answer, screen and forward calls in professional manner
  • Order and replenish office supplies
  • Assist staff and attorneys with copying, scanning, faxing and emailing and court business errands
  • Welcome clients and visitors
  • Prepare meeting facilities
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Direct the flow of mail, faxe, and deliveries to reach intended recipients
  • Assist with the closing process of legal files (will train)
  • Daily record keeping of electronic communications and hard copy filing of documents


Skills and Qualifications


  • Great customer service skills
  • Valid California Driver's License
  • Bilingual (a plus!)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Clean DMV record and vehicle insurance (required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational skills
