Qualifications

• Pose for fine arts studio classes: figure drawing and, occasionally, painting, drawing and sculpture courses; model poses without clothing in figure drawing classes.

• Be aware of classic and traditional poses in the art tradition.
• Be able to hold poses for the sustained drawings. • Be physically able to provide a full range of body gestures and poses, from quick gestures to long, sustained poses.
• Be able to provide a full range of traditional life drawing poses, from gestures to sustained poses, as required by tradition and the instructor.
• Provide traditional gestures and poses as well as anatomical studies.
• Model poses without clothing in figure drawing. Physical Demands and Working Environment
• Previous experience as an artist's model or dance experience.
• Have knowledge of how the model demonstrates anatomy, gesture, or content in a drawing.
