Midland Basin Overview


ConocoPhillips holds approximately 376,000 total net acres in the Midland Basin, which includes approximately 251,000 unconventional net acres located in the heart of West Texas. The company operates over 3,100 wells across Midland, Upton, Andrews, Martin, and Glasscock counties.


In 2022, the company operated five drilling rigs and brought 111 operated wells online. Net production in 2022 averaged 140 MBOED.

Description


  • Perform daily reception functions demonstrating proper discernment and discretion about business matters
  • This position will also support mailroom operations by ensuring safe delivery, receipt, and processing of all parcels within the assigned facilities to support the business needs
  • Serve as the official host/hostess to all visitors at the ConocoPhillips Midland Deauville Office contributing in a way that ensures a positive first impression of the company
  • Authorize point of contact and enforce security and access control procedures

Your Responsibilities May Include


  • Provide daily and monthly reporting on guest statistics
  • Assist with the coordination of conference room reservations and special events
  • Announce the visitors by contacting the employees/host requesting an escort to their desired locations
  • Work closely with site security staff attending the garage visitor gates to expedite unregistered guests
  • Assist with the coordination of office moves
  • Process telephone guest registration requests when necessary, from employees
  • Preparation of FedEx/UPS/services labels
  • Manage the issuance and retrieval of access cards issued to authorize visiting employees
  • Place orders for standard office supplies and special requests
  • Issue the appropriate pass and control visitor access to office areas escorted by the host
  • Maintain and gather data metrics to support the activities of mail operations
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming calls
  • Implement and monitor the usage of the access control (turnstile) through the optical portals
  • Safe operation of company motor vehicles and following all traffic laws and speed limits while driving
  • Receives and distributes incoming mail, interoffice, and packages
  • Carry out the company security policies and procedures as needed
  • Performs invoice preparation for scanning
  • Maintain postage machines/postage requests and supplies
  • Greet and assist guests with introductions and working effectively with employees to project the best possible image of the company
  • Manage and provide mentorship to employees in using the defined visitor management system
  • Assist employees with reserving the conference rooms and direct employees and guests to their designated conference rooms if needed


Basic/Required


  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as a permanent resident, refugee or asylee
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS O365 applications: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Current valid driver's license
  • 3+ years of experience in a reception/administrative support position
