The Receptionist-Administrative Assistant will provide high-level support to colleagues and clients in Bessemer’s New York City office. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting and greeting high profile clients and guests, handling incoming calls, managing room calendars, and providing administrative support to Department. Success in this role requires integrity, good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential matters, and exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail and timely execution of responsibilities is required.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Printing and distributing access passes
- Assisting with special events or projects
- Registering visitors and maintaining daily contact with building security
- Liase with executive assistants to senior leadership to prepare client tracking data report
- Establishing effective working relationships with colleagues
- Effective calendar and meeting room management
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Managing calls to main reception line and transferring and/or relaying messages to appropriate personnel
- Greeting both internal and external contacts, including significant prospects and clients
- Providing daily reception relief and back-up support at designated reception areas
- Providing administrative support to Office Services and Facilities team, as needed
Qualifications:
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy
- Ability to collaborate and work successfully in a team environment
- Has excellent attention to detail and independently executes responsibilities with an appropriate sense of urgency and follow-through.
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
- 3-5 years receptionist or administrative assistant experience with a highly professional organization, law firm or financial services firm, a plus
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. Familiarity with the following applications a plus, but not required: Concur, Adobe Professional, ServiceNow and Building Engines
- Flexibility to work overtime upon request
The base salary range for this position is $50,000-$60,000. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skills, experience, and qualification for the role. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.
In addition, this position may be eligible for a discretionary incentive based bonus based on individual and company performance.
Eligible employees may participate in a 401 (K) program with a company profit sharing contribution, medical, dental, vision, life insurance and disability covering and paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.
