Real Estate Investment Specialist

We are looking to enter into a business collaboration agreement with a freelance contractor, self-employed professional, independent consultant, or business owner with experience in the role of real estate investment analyst or real estate investment specialist.

International investors rely on our platform to find and invest in fractional shares in second homes and luxury vacation rentals in vacation destinations. We set the legal structure and the management framework of real estate holding companies and provide for the upkeeping of the property, either directly or through outsourcing to local partners.

The objective of the role is to assist in the sourcing, underwriting, and closing of real estate deals.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong interest in luxury real estate, along with technical proficiency and an ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges in a startup environment.

The collaboration relation would be spelled out in a written agreement detailing workflows, expectations, responsibilities, exit clauses, and proceeds-sharing, in a process that will prioritize transparency, efficiency, accountability, and a straightforward compensation arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare offering memorandums to be utilized with potential equity investors and lending institutions.

• Underwrite new acquisition and recapitalization opportunities.

• Prepare proposals and memoranda featuring customized economic, market, and area overviews, as well as site level specifics.

• Assist with financial, market, and property level due diligence.

• Assist in closing process for new debt and equity capitalizations.

• Research and analyze market data.

• Conduct competitive rental surveys when underwriting investment opportunities in order to determine market value.

• Lead and participate in proposals and presentations.

Qualifications

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.

• Strong academic performance concentrating in finance, real estate, or economics.

• Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.

• Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to learn and to keep abreast of international trends in the luxury real estate and the second homes markets.

• Be sensitive to and respectful of cultural differences among clients.

• Share company’s values of respect, decency, professionalism, non-discrimination, diversity, and genuine interest in people, clients, and the community.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, statistics, business administration or another related field required.

• Graduate or advanced degree preferred.

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in luxury real estate finance preferred.

• Knowledge of international real estate market
