About the Position
Dew Wealth Management is actively seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and experiencedJunior Private Market Investment Analystwith a strong focus on vetting private market offerings (including real estate), conducting trades, conducting rigorous due diligence on third-party managers and operators, and assisting in strategy development.The successful candidate will collaborate directly with our Director of Investments, an elite team of advisors, and stakeholders to develop and implement investment strategies that align with our clients’ financial goals and objectives.
Working within a Distributed Workforce
This is a fully remote role. Approximately four times per year, we will pay you to fly out to our headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ to get an opportunity to connect with your colleagues in person and align on quarterly objectives. Beyond that, however, your primary interaction with your colleagues will be through the cloud-based tech stack we leverage to align our distributed workforce, which includes employees across the United States.
Notwithstanding the virtual nature of our model, at present, we are only hiring applicants who reside within the continental United States to minimize HR and tax complexities and to keep our team within four time zones of each other.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in team meetings, contribute valuable insights, and help shape investment strategies and processes.
- Actively manage portfolios comprising stocks, bonds, ETFs, and alternative investments, ensuring trades are executed in accordance with established guidelines.
- Assist clients and advisors with the development of asset allocation strategy and asset deployment.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to alternative investments, real estate, private market offerings, portfolio management, and third-party manager assessment.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with investment partners, service providers, real estate professionals, trading counterparts, and third-party managers and operators to expand our network and access the best opportunities.
- Perform thorough due diligence on a variety of alternative investments, real estate, and private market offerings, including analyzing financial statements, evaluating market trends, assessing management teams, and understanding property specifics for real estate investments.
- Meet regularly with clients to discuss the risks, virtues and cons of private market deals, real estate syndications and investment strategies.
- Formulate investment theses and recommendations based on meticulous market research, financial analysis, and due diligence findings. Provide insights that directly influence investment decisions in alternative sectors, including real estate.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of various investments, including alternative investments and real estate holdings. Provide regular updates to the Director of Investments and clients.
- Conduct interviews and due diligence with third-party managers, sponsors, and operators. Evaluate their track record, investment strategies, and operational capabilities.
Qualifications
To be successful, the ideal candidate will have:
- Proficiency in financial modeling, stress testing and analysis.
- Strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to excellence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity reviewing private placement memorandums, performance proformas, private market subscription agreements, and other relevant legal documents.
- Ability to conduct interviews and perform due diligence on third-party managers and operators.
- Experience providing investment analysis, private market due diligence, portfolio management, and executing securities trades.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, real estate, or a related field.
- Desire to earn advanced designations such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst), or CIMA® (Certified Investment Management Analyst).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external team members, clients, and strategic partners.

Compensation
Compensation for this role is$80,000 per year, structured as a $65,000 base salary plus a $15,000 performance bonus, paid quarterly. Additionally, the firm offers a generous benefits package that includes, among other benefits, fully subsidized healthcare, a 401(k)-matching program, and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
