Real Estate Analyst-Associate Jobs

Position Summary:

Hunt Realty Investments, Inc. (HRI) is seeking an Analyst or Associate to join the commercial real estate team. The successful applicant will immediately become a vital team member and support all aspects of our real estate investment and development activities. These activities include underwriting new investment opportunities (acquisition and development), portfolio/asset management of existing investments, and future development/re-development of strategic, direct-owned assets. The candidate should also have experience with corporate and asset modeling, acquisitions, and joint-venture transactions and will be expected to provide analysis to internal team members, senior management, external partners, and lenders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing analysis and financial models to facilitate investment decisions related to the potential development, acquisition, and disposition in all classes of commercial real estate, including office, multi-family, hotel, retail and industrial
• Providing in-depth financial analysis of potential real estate capital structures and joint-venture partnership waterfalls
• Proficient understanding of complex capital, partnership, and waterfall structures
• Communicating the status of ongoing projects, financial results, and performance metrics to all pertinent stakeholders
• Tracking and reporting information relevant to existing real estate investments
• Providing advanced analytic support to senior members of the team
• Preparing internal and external investment memoranda, budgets, and other presentation materials
• Additional duties and projects as assigned

Required Skills:

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, expert level in Excel

Required Experience:

• Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in real estate investments, private equity, or finance
• Bachelor’s degree from a top undergraduate business program majoring in Real Estate or Finance
• CFA a plus
