High-profile, international law firm in Dallas is seeking a highly qualified Real Estate Paralegal to support various attorneys in a busy and successful practice area!
Responsibilities Include:
-Managing deal closings relating to the mortgage financing, mezzanine financing, acquisition and sale of national commercial real estate projects.
-Reviewing due diligence documentation, including title and survey, zoning reports and lien searches.
-Working directly with national title companies to negotiate title insurance coverage, including UCC policies and mezzanine endorsements.
-Maintain closing checklists, preparing UCC financing statements, escrow instruction letters, loan assignment and termination documents and signature page packets.
-Coordinating original document deliveries to loan custodians and preparing closing binders.
-Performing residential real property, condominium and cooperative closings from contact negotiation through closing on behalf of sellers, purchasers and lenders.
Requirements:
-Successful candidates will possess superior analytical and reasoning abilities along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
-The candidate must be able to handle several projects simultaneously while producing accurate work product.
-Must be able to work independently and in a group environment across multiple offices.
-The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational skills, be detail oriented, and be proactive.
-Must have corporate experience that includes the formation of corporate entities and preparation of operating documentation, consents and certificates.
-The ideal candidate should also possess extensive experience in preparation of ACRIS transfer tax forms.
Education:
-A Bachelor's Degree and Notary Certification is required.
-5+ years working in a law firm setting is preferred.
-Demonstrated experience working in a mid-to-large law firm is required.
-Strong computer skills including expertise in Microsoft Office is required.
The Firm provides an excellent benefit package, paid parking, 7.25 hour work week, paid overtime, 401(k), bonus, etc.
Salary: $90,000-$110,000
