Senior Vice President, Construction, Real Estate And Facilities

Responsibilities:
A Senior Vice President (SVP) Construction, Real Estate & Facilities is a high-level executive who oversees the planning, development, and management of construction projects. Will also be responsible for real estate strategies. Responsible for managing a team of professionals and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards. Will lead relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to design and construct new buildings or renovate existing ones. Oversees the facilities and environment of care responsibilities for University Hospital.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required. Preferred experience includes any one of: budget preparation, request for proposal oversight, or project management. If candidate does not hold a master’s degree in construction management, will start a graduate certificate program or a master’s degree in construction management or a similar field within two (2) years of date of hire; candidate should have at least five (5) years of real estate development or construction management experience, and should have industry knowledge on design, project management and alignment of subcontractors. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful strategies that align with University Hospital's goals and objectives. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to real estate and construction.
