Headquartered in San Francisco’s trendy South Beach, and operating in 6 states, Baco Properties is looking for a Real Estate Acquisition and Development Analyst.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct market research for acquisition opportunities, including local demographics, business potential, transportation, and land zoning regulation.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses of proposed transactions.
- Generally, stay informed of current industry and market trends including attending industry conferences.
- Assist with project management of real estate development sites, including paperwork, information collection, communication, etc.
- Prepare budgets, financial models, and market reports necessary for debt/equity proposals and investor reporting (and then produce such proposals and reports).
- Perform financial forecasting for acquisition opportunities and feasibility analysis; analyze and project income statements, cash flows, and balance sheets.
- Facilitate project inspections and tours.
- Help coordinate the closing of transactions.
- Maintain and update due diligence checklists for transactions.
- Prepare and compile due diligence materials, budgets, financial models, and schedules.
- Produce project acquisition proposals and materials necessary for presentations related thereto.
- Create, monitor, track, and interpret project data including contracts, schedules, budgets, and cash flows on an ongoing basis.
- Build, maintain, and monitor financial models in Excel utilizing property financial statements, budgets, rent rolls/leases, expense information, and market assumptions.
- Support the underwriting, analysis, and execution of real estate acquisitions.
- Carry‐out market research.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Ability to assess, underwrite, and value self-storage real estate investments.
- Advanced Excel experience, and strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Detail‐oriented with a commitment to a high‐quality work product.
· Ability to think independently and present viewpoints in a thoughtful and professional manner.
· Ability to present information in both oral and written form in a clear and concise manner.
· Well‐developed interpersonal and communication skills.
· Passion for the field of real estate acquisition/development – must like a fast‐paced, multi‐tasking environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
· Minimum one to two years experience in an applicable field.
· Bachelor’s degree required.
· Computer literate, specifically in Microsoft Office programs.
Salary: Up to $85,000.00 - $90,000 per year plus Bonus
