Our client is a well-established real estate development firm based in San Francisco, CA. Our client focuses on affordable housing and developing mixed-use and senior communities.


JOB SUMMARY


We are hiring a dedicated and passionate Real Estate Development, Senior Project Manager. The Senior Project Manager will be able to work on essential projects in affordable housing communities with a strong focus on financial consulting. In addition, this person will oversee development projects and other assignments for the non-profit, public sector, and institutional clients.


  • Work with the client or partner supportive services representatives to draft plans or budgets and integrate them into overall project budgets.
  • Solicit bids from consultants and contractors, evaluate proposals, coordinate design team selection, and negotiate contract terms.
  • Identify program improvements and necessary policy changes and provide financial analysis to support the creation and adaptation of the associated program and policy changes.
  • Manage affordable housing development project underwriting and financial closings following agency-provided guidance and policies.
  • Manage application process for local, state, and federal funding, including tax credits and tax-exempt bonds.
  • Manage design and construction team from initial scoping, schematic design, and design development through construction.
  • Conduct pro forma financial modeling, SWOT analysis, and goal analysis necessary for strategic planning.
  • Strategize and manage internal and external teams to obtain approvals and build public support.
  • Conduct financial analysis necessary to make recommendations for the development/disposition of client-owned properties/sites.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Adobe, Smartsheets, Excel
  • 5+ years of project management experience in the development industry
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills & the ability to lead client meetings
  • Must have experience working in the development and construction sector of affordable housing
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred


COMPENSATION


  • Very competitive full benefits package
  • $140K - $190K - compensation may meet or exceed posted ranges
  • Salary commensurate with experience
