The Quality Manager will help lead the efficiency of all existing and newly created processes within Shapiro while maintaining our ISO status. This position will be instrumental in leading change management to reduce any variation and implementing continuous improvement plans where it is necessary.

What You’ll Do at Shapiro
- Facilitate solutions with key stakeholders to ensure execution and sustainment of corrective actions
- Ensure organizational adherence to best practices and standardization
- Creatively respond to problems with rapid and effective solutions
- Maintain ownership of Shapiro Metals Management System and its configuration, processes, and procedures
- Engage managers and personnel to drive Shapiro Metals Management System culture
- Report to management on the performance of the Shapiro Metals Management Systems by conducting periodic management review meetings
- Lead departments in resolving daily challenges internally as they pertain to process quality, new process introduction
- Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes
- Ensure that the organization’s Quality Management System meets customer, internal, ISO 9001, and regulatory/legal requirements
- Provide oversite and coaching on ISO 9001 Compliance for all sites
- Lead and manage continuous improvement & lean initiatives as well as process improvement initiatives and teams
- Facilitate internal audits

Need to Have
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate internally and externally
- Driven by innovation, performance, and quality
- Proficient in MS Office
- 4+ years of experience as a Quality Manager
- Aptitude toward data and technology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Process-oriented
- Proven planning and organization skills
