Role: Quality Associate (Scanner)
Duration: 06 Months on W2
Job Location: Des Plaines, IL

Location: Des Plaines/Itasca (travel between sites required)
Job Summary
The Document Scanner/Coordinator scans and coordinates records at Abbott's molecular diagnostics site. Attention to detail, proficiency in scanning and Adobe software, and working under time constraints are essential. Occasional travel between Des Plaines and Itasca is required for meetings and document transfers. Travel expenses are not provided.
Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and quick learning abilities.
• Support various teams within Abbott's molecular diagnostics site.
• Transport sensitive documents between sites during emergencies.
• Maintain accuracy and edit scans using Adobe software.
• Package records in record boxes for moving within the facility.
• Travel between Des Plaines and Itasca (20-30 min drive) for biweekly meetings.
• Scan records ranging from 50 to 500 pages.
• Ensure timely delivery of scanned documents within a 48-hour period.
• Scan records as per the provided list by the manager.

Education & Experience

• Fresh graduates with experience using commercial scanners and editing documents with Adobe will also be considered.
• High school diploma or equivalent (BS or BA preferred).
• Significant experience in scanning quality documents in a GMP environment.
