Job Summary

Permanent Position: A Quality Manager is needed in Arthur, IL. This position will be responsible for overall plant quality for a large building materials manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a group of quality inspectors and possess excellent communication skills for handling external customers. The Quality Manager will be in a high mix and high complexity, low volume environment and will need to learn all of the specs. Someone with experience in the lumber industry or building materials would be ideal.

Responsibilities

• Managing the product quality for the plant
• Managing a small team of auditors/inspectors
• Communicates with customers on quality issues involving paint, stains, finishes, color standards, or wood quality issues.

• Education: Bachelors (required)
• Experience level: Experienced
• Minimum 4 years of experience
