Quality Inspector- All Valves

Position Description

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for reviewing tags, valve travelers, valves, and spec sheets for every valve that comes through the Safety Valve Department. The Quality Inspector will report to the Corporate Quality Manager and be a critical part of the Quality Team.

Requirements

• Highly organized, with good time management skills.
• 5-10 years of experience in quality inspection (valve experience)
• Strong leadership qualities, along with a positive attitude toward all.
• Extensive SRV repair experience.
• The desire to grow Valve and ASME Code Knowledge.
• Must be able to pay attention to details and hold everyone to an elevated quality standard.
• The ability to take the lead in driving the Quality System on the shop floor.

• Must be able to travel and have a clear driving record
• Demonstrate effective time management skills
• Clear background check and drug/alcohol screening
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Safety and Quality
• Basic computer knowledge
• Basic mechanical aptitude including, but not limited to, basic hand and power tool knowledge

• Travel when needed at anytime
• Working in hot and cold environments
