Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Q ual ity Inspector i n Temple, TX. Our client specializes in inspection of automotive parts . Your job will be to ensure parts meet safety and quality standards for the end user . As a Q uality Inspector , you will be responsible for inspecting parts that might be out of compliance or spec to ensure that no bad parts get to the OEM.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of a Q uality Inspector includes

• Document ing /record ing inspection results by properly completing reports, logs or tally sheets summarizing re-work and/or defects.
• Always maintain a very neat work area and ensure job instructions are followed as written.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards operating procedures and complying with legal regulations.
• Using quality inspection technology to track and reject bad parts
• Inspect ing suspect material/parts via customer specification. Inspection may be lineside or offline and could be visual or with measuring tools based on customer requirements.
• P ackag ing any material/parts that meet quality standards
• Perform ing re-work on material/parts per customer requirements to ensure all material is conforming if applicable.
• Updates job knowledge by reviewing job specific work instructions.

Job Requirements Of a QUALITY INSPECTOR

• Must be able to work up to 12-hour shifts, if requested , up to 7 days, including weekends ( Saturday and Sunday).
• Attention to detail
• Hand/eye coordination
• Reporting skills
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable transportation

REQUIRED Experience And Education

• 6 months of manufacturing or quality experience preferred
