Job Description
What to Expect

The Parts Quality Inspector Lead will lead Quality Inspectors and Supplier Quality Technicians teams in their day to day operations. Will be responsible for manufacturing plan achievement and containment action organization related supplier quality concern, including sort inspection, rework. As the Supplier Quality Supervisor you will cover supplier business at Giga Texas

What You’ll Do
  • Maintain Continuous improvement process (PDCA)
  • Cost reduction activity, process optimization, TSORT and SSORT closure targets following
  • To keep production running and leading troubleshooting activity related supplier quality: plant KPIs achievement (Product audit score, OEE)
  • Support the development and lead the implementation of quality standards
  • 5S discipline establish and audit program scheduling
  • Reporting and daily meetings with shop leaders.
  • SCAR creation and MRB process following
  • Collaborating closely with other Tesla cross-functional teams such as; SIE, SQE, Production, Quality Engineers, MH Teams, etc.
  • Coaching and mentoring the team during day to day operations as well as providing performance review feedback
  • Communicate emerging and trending quality issues to prevent negative impact to the factory.
  • Job observation and oversee the performance of sorting companies
  • Manage a team in their day to day operations, including creating rotations, and providing all levels of coaching.
  • Ware house inventory control related parts quality issues
  • Keep safety environment
What You’ll Bring
  • Detail-oriented, able to work both independently and in a collaborative project-focused environment, prompt and dependable, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ISO 9001, IATF 16949, PPAP, TQP standards working experience
  • Proficiency in English language
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in People management experiences
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize in highly dynamic production environment
  • Degree in Engineering or evidence of experience and exceptional ability
  • Proven ability to lead the team, suppliers and
  • Experience in a fast-paced and changing work environment, with busy workloads and meeting deadlines
  • Automotive Experience 3+ year and Supplier’s Audits
  • Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
