Quality Assurance Manager Jobs

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the successful development, Implementation and management of all quality programs surrounding the manufacturing process and product. Plans activities for the Plant QA department to maintain plant’s production quality, oversees all procedures and documents affecting quality, and oversees customer complaints and returned products. This position also interviews, hires, and trains QA personnel, assists with continuous improvement, authorizes the release of raw materials and finished goods, and maintains plant documentation.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action
• Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, specific training and performance evaluations
• Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings
• Develop standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards

Qualifications

• 5+ years' relevant work experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Six Sigma Green Belt
