The Role:

Intel 471 is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our world-class team on a 12-month contract basis, B2B. The role is located in Europe on a remote basis and it requires a mix of responsibilities of manual and automated testing.

The mission of Intel 471 is to protect your organization, your products, your assets and your people. We are building an actor-focused cyber threat intelligence SaaS product. From the customer perspective, we offer an online portal and API that allows them to consume, query, analyze and visualize multiple cyber threat intelligence information sources.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Understanding of object-oriented programming and working with test automation frameworks
• Experience with build and test integration tooling including Jenkins, GitLab
• Design, develop, review and implement integration, system, acceptance and end-to-end test (UI/API)
• Ensure the quality of testing deliverables
• Work closely with the Product manager developers to deliver the tasks on time and with the expected quality
• Ensure defects are clearly and concisely documented
• Working experience with BDD (Cucumber) and Cypress ( Javascript/Typescript)
• Update and maintain the integration & regression test suite as defined and create new automation tests.
• Analyse software and quality requirements and document test plans

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

Must have tech skills:

• Experience with testing APIs and Web-services (REST etc.) with Java preferably
• 2+ years of experience in software testing experience
• Experience with manual test case writing, regression testing, smoke testing

Must have soft skills:

• Self-motivation and ability to work independently in an agile environment
• Good English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Ability to effectively communicate with product stakeholders on automation strategy, coverage and results
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; effective customer service skills.

Desirable knowledge/experience:

• Familiar with STIX™, TAXII™ format pattern
• Familiar with cybersecurity, threat landscape, and platform security domain
