Job Details

We are looking for a Permanent PSM Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate must have experience in Steel, Safety Manager, mining, Manufacturing, OSHA, MSHA, FRA, PSM, Ammonia Refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration system operations, and food manufacturing. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the PSM program for the ammonia refrigeration system
• Investigate accidents and incidents and develop corrective action plans
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the safety of all employees and visitors to the plant
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in safety management
• Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Manage the budget for the safety department and ensure resources are allocated appropriately
• Train employees on safety procedures and best practices
• Manage the emergency response plan and conduct drills regularly
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including OSHA, MSHA, and FRA
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for the manufacturing plant

Qualifications

• Experience with PSM and ammonia refrigeration system operations
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the Manufacturing industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or related field
• Experience with food manufacturing is a plus
• Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and FRA regulations
