Project/Supplier Manager - Fully Remote

Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a PM to join their team that is focused on consolidating their steel vendors.

Title: Project Manager

Location: Fully Remote

Duration: 6 month-1 year contract (could possibly extend)

Pay Range: $40-60/hr

Day to Day:

This Project Manager will be helping our client reduce their suppliers from 4500 down (shrinking tail spend, low-cost sourcing, reducing packaging, etc.). This PM will be expected to communicate with the Category Manager, engineering, procurement, and vendor management throughout the projects. Typically, 1 project will be worked on at a time, but there's a chance it can get up to 2-3 smaller projects.

Some projects deal with vendors outside of the United States (Asia & Europe), and up to 25% travel should be expected. Projects can include: harness, steel, gauge analytics, weights, fabrication, etc.

Must Haves:

• Experience specifically working with Steel vendors
• 1+ years Project/Procurement/Supplier Management experience supporting tail spend reduction/rationalization

**Ideally in Asia or Europe

**Comfortable with travel overseas for onsite vendor reviews

• Experience working with supply chain & vendor management
• Solid understanding of manufacturing environments (factories, etc.) or supply chain
• Strong communication/outgoing personality
