General Contractor and Construction Management firm with nearly 40 years of industry experience in delivering projects successfully in New York City.

Projects that they cover include: Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare, Education and Public work with a strong focus on interiors work. Over 80% of their work comes from repeat business clients as they offer a stable work environment with a highly secure project pipeline for the coming years.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and estimating required resources and providing accurate timelines
• Ensure projects remain within scope
• Assess data both current and historical to enable more accurate project planning
• Establish effective, regular communication lines with project stakeholders
• Track and assist in the resolution of construction issues/conflicts
• Tracking project progress, notifying Project Management of potential delays
• Analyze factors that may impact the schedule and take corrective action to mitigate project delays
• Responsible for developing and managing the project schedule
• Ensure that the Project is delivered on time and to budget

Experience Required

• Previous experience working for a General Contractor/Construction Management firm in New York City is preferred
• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in a Construction/Engineering related discipline is preferred but not essential
• Experiencer working on commercial interiors is preferred but not essential
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience working with Procore, or similar Project management software is preferred but not essential
• At least 3 years of experience working as a Project Scheduler within the Construction industry
