We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on exciting construction projects, ranging from residential construction and renovations to residential remodeling. You will be part of a fast-paced environment where each day brings unique challenges and new opportunities to learn and grow. Responsibilities


As a Project Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our construction operations, ensuring that all projects are executed smoothly, on time, and within budget. Your responsibilities will include


  • Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including contracts, permits, and technical reports.
  • Assisting in the development of project schedules and tracking progress against these schedules.
  • Coordinating project activities, from planning to implementation and closeout.
  • Assisting with project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Coordinating and attending project meetings, taking minutes and following up on action items.
  • Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
  • Ensuring project compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.
  • Identifying potential project risks and working with the project team to mitigate them.
  • Providing regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports and budget updates.
  • Managing project resources and materials, ensuring that they are available when needed.


Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications


  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential issues and develop effective solutions.
  • A thorough understanding of construction processes, from design and planning to execution and closeout.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey project information to various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
  • A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is an asset.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Coordinator in the construction industry, ideally with a focus on residential construction, renovations, and remodeling.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
